I was happy with my radio show"Bluesland" today. Luckily my friend and muse "Greg Drust" was in town so I picked him up and brought him into the studio. We discussed the beginnings of Greg's career in radio, his involvement and work in establishing The Santa Barbara Blues Society, and his work in establishing Polka radio stations in the midwest. I really enjoyed that as soon as I put Greg on the air the phone started ringing and old friends of Greg called. I sometimes do not know who or how many listeners are listening to KCSB/"Bluesland". Does it matter? Well, yes and no. I will continue playing the music because if there is just one person listening then we have succeeded.  I am happy you are out there! Keep tuning in to our passion, the blues.
