The Battle of the Blues Bands for the Santa Barbara Blues Society (SBBS) was a hoot with a full house at SOHO in Santa Barbara. The event started at 12:15, only a little late of a start, but then we went full bore. I was the mc and I really enjoyed the bands that participated. I hope all of the attendes enjoyed the event as much as I did. Judges for the event were Seymour Duncan, Steve Daniels, and Al Blake. There were 9 bands and all of them did us proud with passion and top notch musicianship. We ,the SBBS, raised over 500 dollars for the blues in school project we are starting with our "Lucille" guitar raffle. 10 dollars buys you a chance to win this guitar and I hope all the signatures on the guitar make it more special to the winner of this guitar.
