We had a meeting about our pledge drive at KCSB starting Nov. 4. We usually have several meeting's getting prepared with getting our donations ready to give for the pledge drive. I will post a picture and info of the meeting soon but...a picture of my muse Greg Drust. Greg was in Santa Barbara listening to The Cadillac Angels at SOHO Thursday night. Greg is a past member of KCSB 91.9 FM with shows "The Showers of Rain " blues show, and "Back At The Chicken Shack" blues show. Greg and Lazlo Kiraly are co-founders of The Santa Barbara Blues Society. I used to listen to Greg on KCSB and admire his record collection and most of all his interview expertise with blues artists. Greg would be prepared and ask thoughtful questions that would make the artist laugh or really think about the question and give an insightful answer.I always try to call everyone involved with the blues industry including musicians, writers, publicists, promoters, club owners, and anyone that loves the music.
