I have always wanted a dedicated blues bar in Santa Barbara. I even thought about opening one here. After hanging around in enough bars and talking to my family, who own a bar in Santa Cruz, I've decided not to do it. I would like to have a bar allow me to book one quality blues act a month with the bar paying all including me. Hah hah hah. Is the blues as much an attraction to other people as it is to me? Sometimes the music will attract a gazillion people and sometimes not. What can I do to make this passion of mine be a steady income to blues artists and enjoyment for others? Free beer? Free food? Free????
