I have been putting on a "Battle Of The Blues Bands" every year for 6 years now. The event is always free and full. I have been a mc, judge, organizer, and all around glad to do the event guy. The Santa Barbara Blues Society (sbbs) has always supported my efforts and I appreciate it. The bands have always been good and the audiences enthusiastic. The winning bands , acoustic and electric, will be going to Memphis, TN and participate in The International Blues Challenge (IBC) for The Blues Foundation. The upside of this event is ot's of support from The SBBS finacially and exposure to blues industry for the bands.
