Elizabeth Robinson, in the picture above, is the faculty advisor for KCSB and keeps us on a steady course with advice and direction. I used to call her on her blues radio show and request blues songs. When I went on the air she came over and introduced herself and was very helpful. I have been at KCSB for ten years now and a couple of times, due to family illness, I wanted to leave the station because I was overwhelmed trying to take care of loved ones. Elizabeth took me aside and said "You need to program your show, it's good therapy for you". She was right because music has got me through some very tough times. I really enjoy getting ready for my show "Bluesland", I enjoy seeing and hearing the blues bands, and I really get up when I get the mic in front of me. I love that I get requests and talking to the listeners of KCSB. I wish more people would call. I consider getting phone calls or emails a succesful show. Please call me or email me. I love it.
